Looking to play in a more competitive environment?  The East Coast Bandits is a girls Fast Pitch softball organization located in Chelmsford, MA, that travels to various  tournaments throughout the year.  The Bandits organization is run by Dave Harrison, one of the region's preeminent  softball coaches.

The Bandits currently field five teams: U10, U12(2), U14, and U16 and continue to grow.  The season runs from September 1 through August 31, with tryouts held in late July.  We are always looking to expand our program and welcome new players at the start of the season!

As a Bandits player, you will experience the following benefits:

• Our own fields: We practice at Southwell in North Chelmsford.  Southwell is a full-service park, including three fields, restroom facilities, a snack shack, ample parking, and lights for night games!
• New England-based tournaments: We also host many tournaments throughout the season at Southwell, and travel to a few tournaments, primarily located in other New England states.  
• Qualified Coaches: Led By Dave Harrison, our coaches have experienced the game at many levels.  All coaches are SafeSport certified, and are continuously refreshing their coaching knowledge through yearly USA Softball training.  The coaches have high expectations for all players and work individually with them as necessary to ensure proper development. 
• A Quality Experience: It is important for all players to have the same experience.  We coach with the following goals in mind:

  • Loyalty
  • Creating friendships to last a lifetime
• Year-round Practice:
  • Fall (September-November): Practices held at Southwell until the cold weather sets in.
  • Winter (January-March):Practices inside at various locations, at least one location having available hitting cages.
  • Spring and Summer (April-August): Practices held at Southwell.  While weekends are usually reserved for games, there is at least one night during the week for practice.

The East Coast Bandits welcomes players from both Chelmsford and other towns.
